Curious about how to engage with Civic Season? Not sure what Civic Season is? David Quick of the DC Public Library and Adam Rozan of the National Museum of American History will discuss Made by Us's annual CivicSeason, which focuses on bringing civic-minded programming to your community.
 
Our speakers will discuss the background of Civic Season and Made By Us, highlight existing partners, and outline ways you can engage with the program. This is a great opportunity to engage your community and join a beautiful network of libraries, museums, and organizations across the country.

David Quick, Adult Services Coordinator, DC Public Library

David Quick is the adult services coordinator at the DC Public Library where he as worked for more than ten years. He leads initiatives around workforce development and entrepreneurship as well as signature literary programming.

  

 

 


 

 

Adam R. Rozan, Senior Audience Development Lead, Smithsonian National Museum of American History

Adam Reed Rozan serves as Senior Audience Development Lead at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, where he leads audience development, research, and community partnerships. In 2025, he received a Smithsonian Education Achievement Award for creating the Staff Learning Series. He is a founding member of the International Audience Engagement Network and serves on the COMuseum International Advisory Board. Previously, he was Director of Audience Engagement at the Worcester Art Museum and has held roles at the Oakland Museum of California, Harvard Art Museums, Boston Children’s Museum, and Museum of Science, Boston.
