This October 16-18, the 2019 ULC Forum: Preparing to Lead on AI + Digital Citizenship will convene our member community in Salt Lake City to engage in expert-led discussions and activities to elevate our shared understanding of the economic and social implications of emerging technologies.

Hosted by Salt Lake City Library and Salt Lake County Library, this important event will bring together leaders from major urban library systems across the U.S. and Canada. Together, we will map out how libraries can take ownership of their role at the forefront of the AI revolution, fostering and empowering digital-savvy citizens with services and tools that will strengthen democracy.

Registration Details

Early Bird Pricing for ULC Member Libraries (until August 2, 2019): $595
Pricing for ULC Member Libraries after August 2, 2019: $645
Pricing for ULC Associate Members and Corporate Partners: $995

Invoice and credit card payments are accepted. The registration cost includes the following:

  • Breakfast (Thursday and Friday)
  • Lunch (Thursday)
  • Refreshment breaks (Wednesday-Friday)
  • The Welcome Reception (Wednesday)
  • The Innovations Celebration, including transportation to and from (Thursday)
  • Access to all Forum sessions and keynotes offered throughout the conference*
  • Access to the Forum presentations via ULC Knowledge Center (post-conference)
  • Access to the conference attendee roster

Cancellation Policy Registration cancellations made prior to September 2, 2019, will be refunded in full. After September 2, 2019, you may transfer your registration to another staff person or forfeit the registration fee. Please contact Christine Merzazada at cmerzazada@urbanlibraries.org to process a cancellation.

*ULC Member Groups are only open to ULC member libraries.

The conference will take place at the Little America
Hotel
. To book your guest room, please use the ULC room block and visit the hotel's reservation page. The guest room rate is $199 + tax. The cutoff date to make a reservation is Friday, September 20.
